(This is an update to How to charge your iPhone 3G in the car.)

It looks like someone is finally working on an adapter to fix the iPhone 3G’s inability to charge using existing car interfaces. Unfortunately, they’re charging $40 for it, and the finished product won’t be out until September. I’m not sure this one is worth waiting for, given the workarounds that are already available.
